Wiltshire Police online chat Monday 23 July 2012
Wiltshire Police and Wiltshire Police Authority are hosting a public online chat on Monday 23 July. Chief Constable Pat Geenty, Deputy Chief Constable Mike Veale and Police Authority Chairman Chris Hoare will be logged on from 7pm to 8pm to answer your questions. This will be the fifth public online chat Wiltshire Police Chief Officers and Wiltshire Police Authority have held.
Chief Constable Pat Geenty said:”It is important to us as a Force to provide Wiltshire residents with a chance to engage with their local police service and this is one way of doing so. At the last chat, topics raised included anti-social behaviour, traffic highways agency officers, Police Community Support Officers driving patrol cars, Royal Military Police assisting Wiltshire Police as well as recruitment and career opportunities within the police service.”
Wiltshire Police Authority Chairman Chris Hoare added:”Other questions raised during the previous online chat were about the forthcoming Police and Crime Commissioner and what this means for Wiltshire Police. With this new figure being elected in November, I would welcome further questions ahead of the transition.”
Chief Officers and the Police Authority Chairman will endeavour to answer as many questions as possible during the session on Monday 23 July from 7pm - 8pm.
However, it may not be possible to answer all questions within the live hour. So Wiltshire Police will endeavour to post answers to questions not answered during the live hour on the Wiltshire Police website by the end of the following day (Tuesday 24 July).
