Applications invited for Parish Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer

Ogbourne St George Parish Council is seeking to appoint a part time Parish Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer.

Applications are invited for the post of Clerk to the Ogbourne St George Parish Council. The post is part time working from home presently four hours per week. The Parish Council meets six times a year with occasional additional planning meetings.

The post-holder will be the Council’s Legal and Responsible Financial Officer and should have experience of accounts, minute taking and correspondence. Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills are required.

Salary is based on the National Association of Local Council’s recommendation on the salary scale LC1 SCP15 to SCP20 £8.72 - £9.99 depending on experience, plus mileage allowance, telephone, Broadband and stationery costs.

This is an interesting and varied post, supporting an active, community-focused Parish Council.
