It would be useful, as a first time visitor myself, if you could give information on where shops are to buy such things as sandwiches and newspapers

we have have had a person from the royal british legion to see us as we have asked if they can help us concerning erecting a metal shed as i am 83 years old and i could find doing it myself difficult and i was given kennet council ,something about helping hands . i hope that i have the right people and that you can advice on this matter as we have had to get rid of our wooden shed as its a fire ha zzard so say the wilts council .

Sadly we no longer have any shops in the village. You can get food at the Inn With The Well and Parklands Hotel. Otherwise it is c.4 miles in any direction, to shops in Aldbourne, Chilsedon or Marlborough.
