There are bottle and paper recycling bins available at Buckerfields (at the entrance to Sonia Wright Plants).

Household waste and recycling collections

Households in Ogbourne St George are provided with the following waste collection service

- Household waste collection (black wheelie bin) one week

- Recycling collection (green wheelie bin, recycling crates) the following week

TIP1: The easiest place to recycle items not collected (unfortunately the big and bulky things like cardboard and plastic milk bottles) is in the recycling bins located in the large carpark behind Waitrose in Marlborough.

TIP2: Household waste and recycling centres (aka the local dump!) can be found in Swindon, Calne and as listed on the Kennet District Council website, Devizes. We’d recommend Swindon for large amounts of garden waste (car parking is above the skips) and Calne for the lack of queues (but you have to climb steps to throw bags in).
