The primary bus service through the village is Stagecoach service 80 from Swindon to Ludgershall, connecting in Marlborough, route 80 from Swindon or Marlborough (Monday to Saturday). Evening services are run by Thamedown Buses as the Routes 70a and 72a

The Salisbury Reds (was Wilts and Dorset) route X5 from Swindon or Pewsey. This route stops on the village by-pass.

From Marlborough, there is a connecting bus to Bedwyn railway station for trains to London.

We try to keep these links up to date however if you spot any that are not working please use the comments form below.

train pictureThe nearest train station is in Swindon town centre. The trains are run by Great Western Railway Trains. Use their website to obtain information on train routes and time. Car parking at Swindon station can be a challenge (to say the least), some people prefer to travel from Bedwyn Station. It is also cheaper to travel to places like Reading and London Paddington from Bedwyn (compared to prices from Swindon)

You may find other train ticketing sites offer best deals - shop around.

As of January 2017, we now have a taxi service based in the village, based at Parklands Hotel.
